Somewhere in the heart of the city, an island exists beyond the edge of every known map. Sailors have searched for it. Explorers have chased rumors of it. Cartographers have left its space blank — not out of ignorance, but out of respect for something they could not explain.

"When the world grows still and the tide pulls away from shore, a signal stirs — a low, resonant hum, like a bell struck once at the bottom of the ocean. Those who heard it followed without knowing why. They found a chest, sealed with a lock that had no keyhole. They reached for it. And then — they were gone."

One night, without warning, the signal reached Aethon Signal Co. It matched an ancient scroll perfectly. Zephyral was real. The chest was real. But Aethon lacked the manpower to mount an expedition. So they put out the call.

Aethon founder Edmund Voss declared: "Whoever retrieves what Zephyral has been guarding shall keep half of everything inside. No conditions. No contracts. Only the courage to follow the signal."
